I helped elect Kirk Watson and Donna Howard, so that was nice!

As for Mike McCaul, well his district is gerrymandered 150 miles away to Katy, so that sucks!

But my county, DALLAS COUNTY, is the ONLY county in north Texas that voted for Obama! 57% to 42%. It usually does vote Democratic, I think, which is surprising (Bush lives in Dallas County).

The far southwest and south-southwest has counties that went blue. High latino populations there.

The cities are blue.

There were a lot of dark blue and light blue.

I am feeling better.

We have big cities here, Houston is huge.

The map was dark blue, light blue and red.

All mixed together.

The cities are usually blue.

Mixed together that gets more purple.

I had never heard of Texas republican governor.

The cities are safe but I don't know what we can do with the countryside.
