This is why I cancelled my AJC subscription after the 2000 election. The AJC has lost all objectivity in their quest to cater to the right wing majority in this state. Without any compelling media outlets, it will take forever for this state to accept the realities of the modern world.

and hopefully, ignorance (are you listening Aiken, Mourdock, West, Walsh?)...

thank you for all you guys did to keep this place up and running last night. you were my sanity in the craziness.

I cried a couple of times last night, but especially poignant was the win of Tammy Baldwin in WI, as well as WI going blue. Our state elections did not go that way, but I am sensing the tide is turning.

What we do next is very, very important.

Though I admit I may be biased as it is my home state...Still, Western Washington never skips out on making things aesthetically pleasing. It's part of what I love about it. The truly proud showing of a family with gay parents at the top makes me love it even more. Leave it to Washington!

We quit our subscription last month, in protest of the Times publishing their full-page ugly ads in support of the rethug McKenna running against Jay Inslee for governor. Now, they give us a full front page that I'd like to save for posterity!

There was a thread where Anonymous posted and said that he was undoing everything they had set up and reversing the damage to the vote. It actually looks like something like that had to have happened to affect the vote like it did. I'm sorry, I can't recall the thread.

Shameless self-promotion, but I made a bunch of newspaper and headline collages with some of these front pages, and have them for sale on shirts, greeting cards, magnets, posters, phone and iPad cases, and other gifts: http://tinyurl.com/obama2012newspapers

I hope this isn't considered spam...I figured it was germane to the topic. And I will use a portion of the proceeds to donate to hurricane relief.
