There was a 4.0 in Utah on Sept 30, 2012 that was never listed on the USGS list of quakes for that date, nor was it on their map.

Now today the 4.5 in Utah is the same way- non-existent to anyone looking at the USGS information- neither on their map nor their list.

(2.5+ magnitude in the US are supposed to be included on their list!)

The bigger quakes in Utah can only be seen on foreign earthquake reporting sites.

I emailed USGS today and so far they have not replied. When I wrote in September, someone answered my email saying they have lots of earthquakes in Utah, and sent a screen-shot of their map. Yes, lots of small quakes, but the 4.0 was not included, with no explanation for why not. I even sent back the exact coords and time, but they did not reply.

IMHO- I think a lot of mining is taking place in Utah, and USGS is covering up the harm it is causing.
