Now is the time to put forward the DREAM act.
Republicans just got annihilated by hispanics and they know it.
Maryland's version of the DREAM act just passed in this election.
Now's the time to take the DREAM act national, because:
1). It's the right thing to do
2). It will cement hispanic support for the Democratic party
3). There's enough Republicans scared shitless by yesterday's hispanic drubbing that they'll vote for it to save their own political asses.
We won. It's time to get to work. Passing the DREAM act is the perfect place to start.
