(9,623 posts)people could really want this guy....when it seems like that they have 900,000 recall votes....I believe these polls are fixed...

(2,354 posts)It's just a fancy way of talking about Dems -- in office, or with some influence --
who sell out the best interests of their party's voters, in order to benefit
themselves.
I honestly think there are very few, ordinary, vote-casting Dems who fit that
category. Most are from what Thom Hartmann calls "the low information voter"
group.
Actually, if you look at the poll results -- fixed or not -- there's next to no one
in the middle on this one. You either "strongly disapprove" or "strongly approve."
(This poll is probably getting national attention, from knuckle-dragging TEAtards
all over the country.)

(126 posts)But isn't that a process making an already problematic non-scientific poll more scewed than it already is?
Appreciate the heads up to the meaning of the jargon.
Raffi Ella
(4,465 posts)And since it's non scientific anyway and "scewed" can you cite a reason why we shouldn't "scew" it in our favor, Democrats favor that is.

(29,674 posts)because someone will later on use polls of this nature as something they can cite for evidence. In this case, even though 900,00+ have signed the recall someone else will point out how nearly 600,000 approve of him and will state that the recall is flawed and needs investigated.
Of course, when they say the poll is flawed they won't point out the fact that the poll is open to anyone with an internet connection, from anywhere. Does it make sense to "DU" the poll? Not really-it's just an ego boost, same as it is with the posters from Free Republic and other sites.
