I can see in my mind's eye his laughter at the Colbert performance at the White House Corrrespondents dinner in 2006. At best nervous laughter from most of the majors, in fact from most of the audience, but Scalia was busting a gut. It's the only thing that I can call up that confirms his humanity to me.

Unfortunately, I know a couple of women who think they are princesses. I tend to avoid them, as I know I won't be able to keep quiet.
