I was just checking in on the counting in Arizona and saw that Ron Barber is 269 votes ahead of the Republican everyone thought won. Cross your fingers everyone!!

This is a great map and it shows how many red seats went blue in the house. (5 "Leaning Republican" went blue. 12 of 17 "toss-ups" went blue. Pretty stuff!

UPDATE: The AZ Election site has Carmona UP by 289!! Keep on counting Arizona!!

I wonder if that's a re-run from Tues before he knew about the 600000+ uncounted ballots?

where he looked really sad, thanked all those who had worked on his campaign, thanked his family. You know the drill. Seemed like a nice man with a nice family.

Funny how I can usu. tell the Democrats from the Republicans, even w/o knowing who they are.

Yes, that was him. He mentioned Flake, so I looked it up. Flake had won.

I live in AZ. I am not sure if you do. But AZ is not getting Redder. It's almost black now, it's so red.

I assume Barber will lose, but even if he wins, he's a Conservative Dem.

"Barber crossed party lines last week to vote for a Republican-backed measure that would allow the Border Patrol to bypass more than a dozen environmental laws on all federally managed lands within 100 miles of the borders with Mexico and Canada."

Call that moderate all you like.

And by the way, Conservative Dem is moderate in todays politics.

Sorry I look at all the votes and evaluate things are they are. I am not sure what purity has to do with this.

I would rather have a progressive in office.

Some people don't think so, but I do. At least they vote SOMETIMES with the Democrats, and they haven't signed the Norquist pledge, and aren't hell bent on obstructing Obama.

And Kirkpatrick is now up 6,053. Unfortunately, Carmona hasn't made up much ground on Flake... he's made up about 5,449 votes, but that still leaves him back by 74,524. 3 out of 4 ain't bad!
