On a state level here in Wi. there is little to cheer.

...Is that turkey walker up for reelection in 2014? I assume that is why you're feeling down is WI? Cheer up please. Be thankful you don't live in KY with McConnell and Paul, and now Barr.

but the repubs regained Senate and now control the whole legislature. Ugh.

Well, we're both in the same boat. Let's try to keep our chins up and be happy about all the gains that were made with this election across the country. Hey..this might cheer you up... you know back when you were all demonstrating up there two yrs ago? There was a Saturday when activists from all over the country protested at their state capitals in support of Wisconsin? Well,I made a dandy little poster attached to a yardstick and away my son and I went to the steps of the capital. I may have a photo somewhere, but I have misplaced the little external drive that I had it on. Hang in there... ReRe

And whenever I see a campaign sign for one of the defeated candidates around here (Huey or Bloomfield) I burst out laughing!

I am filled with a completely contented feeling...
