I'm grateful the President won a majority of the popular vote (50.1%...LOL)...and that there's no question as to the legitimacy of this election and of his election. Sorry...when you lose two states that you won the previous election, I don't quite see it as a landslide. But then my definition is skewed by having experience '64, '72 and '84...last Tuesday was a comfortable margin that can't be questioned.

Right now, Obama is closing in on Bush's 2004 popular vote total of 62,040,610. He's less than 100,000 away from that mark.

He's already blown Bush's popular vote victory margin out of the water a few days ago.

Bush won by 3,012,000 votes (approx). Obama's current margin, which has been growing over the last few days, is at 3,250,000, or thereabouts.

As the popular vote trickles in, we really start to see the scope of Obama's victory.

That would be plenty to have on a bumper sticker, and it would work for four years. Or, perhaps a bumper sticker that says:

MANDATE 332!
