Paul Ryan is term-limited as chairman of the House Budget Committee

Ryan is chairman of the House Budget Committee. He became the ranking member on the panel in 2006.

In 2010, Republicans adopted a six-year term limit for leadership roles. Republicans count time served as chairman and ranking member toward term limits.

Ryan is term-limited at the end of this Congress (at the end of 2012)

In order for Ryan to be allowed to stay on in this role, the Steering Committee (the public face of House Republicans on budget and economic issues) must grant Ryan a waiver from the six-year term limits rule.

Boehner has already said a waiver would be granted. So much for their own self imposed rules.

and their great intellect. Idiots. Hopefully, the general public will continued to be scared to death of his views..
Never fear, they will grant him a waiver , considering they think him their leader into the wilderness.
