Haven't posted in a while....been super busy with other stuff.
But the sweetest thing about the election for me, was the GOP tears.
Listening to them cry and blame their loss on everything but their own policies makes me smile. Hopefully they don't do much self-reflection and keep pushing the same right-wing bullshit, because they'll lose even bigger next time.

(9,609 posts)Here it is Sunday morning and I can't stop reading articles about the election...I have really enjoyed seeing them upset. They are UPSET, sick, crushed and I love it. I am soaking in seeing them moan and sulk.
But this has motivated me to work hard here in NC for the 2014 mid term election.

(12,816 posts)P.S. I think it was the Ed Show where I heard something like "If you can't win with your proposed policies and you have to cheat - your policies suck."
And by the way, GOPers, your pollsters suck, too.

(12,504 posts)is that the African Americans won't have to put up with the right wing racist rants that President Obama was not, and is not, a legitimate president, just a one hit wonder, so to speak.
Winning re-election 332 to 206 is crushing along with 3+ million in the popular vote, and climbing. Mr. Obama is totally legitimized as the POTUS. Period.
As a honky white-bread, I wasn't looking forward to that conversation if Willard won.
I must admit, the 2nd sweetest thing are the GOP tears. It has been fun tuning in Fox and watching the pain set in for them. I'm waiting for Steve Douchy to stroke out in one of the next few shows.

Not judging you or any others who enjoy that.
My old prof said cognitive dissonance makes the person change attitudes and beliefs or behavior to get to a comfort level again. Which will change I wonder?
