through predatory lending and Wall St excesses, if we could get back what the savings and loan scandal took away, if we could recover what ENRON pissed away.... and what was given to Halliburton and others for poor service provided to our military we would not be where we are today. Most of this stuff can be hung around the necks of the ones crying the loudest imho.

I feel like I can't say a thing where I work. I have no idea where people stand. It's a very large corporation and I live in a very reserved city. People do not really express themselves here. There was one guy in my office who was happy about the election (we were watching the results on CNN in the kitchen), he's AA and he thought most people in the office were democratic but some were hardcore republicans. Other than him, nobody has said a word about the election. Very strange, I moved here from NYC 4 months ago and people were openly and vocally political (mostly liberal) there. It's so different here.

I look at Romney and his group and it's like they are all foaming at the mouth and snapping at anything that hurts their ears, like facts. I think on some level people can sense that even if they don't fully see it as it is.

Because of the intense research required to understand HOW batshit crazy this group is, it's hard to explain it to non-wonks. My BFF gets the most common sense bits I can put together, but I kind of PLAN things to tell her over a few days.

Last night I was trying to explain something to my sister and it fell flat. I would have needed to be on the computer and pulling up multiple sources to explain the evolution of my inability to tolerate blatant lies and people telling ME I'm lying when I have the facts to back up what I say.
