All This Money That Corporate America Has Been Sitting On Waiting For A Repug Win......

Seems to me that they have to start spending it now. I know they were waiting for a Rmoney win so as to make him look good - but I don't think they can sit on it any longer.

I'm curious as to what others here on DU think about this. Will corporate America start spending? Will the banks begin to ease up and begin loaning again so that people can buy houses? Will rebuilding after Hurricane Sandy be a stimulus to the economy?

Aside from the 'fiscal cliff' issue - what is going to happen on the economic front - that was being held back before the election?

AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson said "If we could get this fiscal situation addressed, get a tax code that is more modern and competitive with the rest of the world, I think that with what's happening with energy in this country and what people are prepared to invest in technology, I think we ride a wave in this country for three or four years that's going to be very exciting," he said.
