Okay, so our manufacturing base isn't coming back

Outsourcing will continue to be rewarded with our current tariff laws and tax rates on the uber-rich.

Time to start here with jobs/careers that cannot be outsourced.
Of course deal with the our tax structure tragedy but we need to get started NOW!

1. Rebuild and retrofit our infrastructure in a sustainable (green) way.
2. Include industrial hemp in #1. I know it is not the "end-all-be-all" answer so spare me a lecture however it is an invaluable plant with enormous potential to help heal our planet.

We need to find the public funds to jump start this no matter how far in debt we need to go because the payoff will be enormous in a stimulated economy.

Of course, the corporations would never let that happen.

My dad's company, for example, is pretty huge and they were big into outsourcing for years. Then they discovered that the quality of work was minimal if it existed at all and realized they were getting ripped off by the outsourcing brokers. They've pulled a full reversal and done everything they could to get back up to steam with a domestic workforce, but they lost a shitload of good people during the outsourcing years.
