Question about ACA and businesses

We've all been reading and hearing about the businesses that say they are going to fire people because they will have to offer health insurance to their employees.

I don't know the fine print details of ACA, but is there a requirement that employers pay any part of the premiums or only that they negotiate and offer a policy? I'm sure someone here that knows ACA better than I can answer that.

Thanks in advance.
