Melissa Harris-Perry has an amazing show

As a woman- I love "meeting" the intelligent women she has on her panels.

The panels are not female only, but definitely female-centered. The men at the blue desk seem to acknowledge their female colleagues depth of knowledge with respect even if they disagree; that intellectual equality is a given. I sincerely hope her show represents the future.

I recommend it over the other Sunday drivel.

She does her homework and demonstrates the ability to see beyond the surface of important issues.

Does she have a slight lisp?

It's no stumbling block for what's inside her head, though.

I'm happy she has decided to examine the issue of poverty in depth in the future. It's a subject most and that includes liberals would rather glide over as if it didn't exist and if they admit it does, believe there aren't any solutions.

It sucks, because many more white people are poor than blacks in absolute numbers, though not in percentages.

In the RW mind, it seems that when you say "poor" they see a black face and recoil. There is a part of many of them that may be willing to help white people, but they don't see white poverty, and they are unwilling to help black people.

It is time to see that easing poverty really does help people of all races.

Oh, and especially women of all races.

under eighteen. How are they supposed to pull themselves up by the bootstraps without help from society?
