The master of creating a erroneous deduction of facts to create a false narrative then asking a biased question
in the form of trying to "be sincerely objective and gain information" then tweaking any response that differs from his narrative to fit
back into his initial false premise.

(147 posts)Being a close second. Always presenting himself as a psuedo novice or clueless and in need of some right wing hack (today it was greta van susterin ~rolls eyes) to "explain" what is going on or how a political situation should be looked at, approached, etc.
"Please inform me oh wise GOP RWNJ sage how to make sense of this scary and new world" says George Stephonopoulous, while using slightly different words.

(14,524 posts)I NEVER watch Faux News, and rarely Gregory. Nor do I ever "tune into" the sloppy propaganda dispensed by teh "morning joe" idiots. Yet I manage to figure out "what the narrative/spin of the day is" without giving ratings, thereby paychecks those assholes.
Amazing, eh?

The basic point is that Meet the Press has been held up as the Sunday morning gold standard. It has been held up as credible and objective.
David Gregory is Meet the Press. The narrative for the week usually starts from the Sunday morning shows. Meet the press being the leader. Instead of attacking the messenger with bullshit "oh my gawd you add to the ratings" nonsense. Maybe a clearer head would say that since his ratings are already down, perhaps there could be a mobilization to get someone from the other NBC network channels to take that influential position. An Ed Shultz or Lawrence O'. They are already on the same network. Last, I was under the impression that ratings are determined by a certain sample population being asked to record the shows they watch either through special box or paper and pen and are not just based on my teevee being on a channel for a half hour.

(14,524 posts)... watching them, you aren't adding to their ratings. It's "nonsense" that the idiot box keeps shows on the air because the advertisers pay more for higher ratings? Whatever you say, pal.
(... and the election was "too close to call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

(147 posts)"Television ratings are determined by just 5000 households. This sample represents the television viewing habits over 270,000,000 Americans."
So go ahead and make a new straw man.
I'll wait. Actually I won't, and on top of it, I won't even call you a dumbass. Enjoy your day

Do you understand even the basics of digital technology and it's capabilities?
I'd suggest you refrain from the veiled personal insult attempts, newbie, unless you really like pizza.
