CentCom Chief Fallon: Petraeus Is An Ass-Kissing, Little Chickensh*t, I Hate People Like That

fallon1231.gifDuring the Iraq war, the Central Command (CENTCOM) head who leads U.S. operations in the entire Middle East region and the Multinational Force Commander (MNF) have regularly testified together about the course of the war in Iraq.
Former-MNF Commander Gen. George Casey and his CENTCOM Commander Gen. John Abizaid constantly briefed Congress about the situation in Iraq and its regional effects. In at least four public hearings after Casey took office in 2004, the pair testified together:
In January, President Bush replaced Abizaid and Casey, who were surge skeptics, with Adm. William Fallon and Gen. David Petraeus. This week, Petraeus in the first public hearings since taking on his new role delivered his Iraq assessment to great media fanfare. But where was his boss, Admiral Fallon? Inter-Press Service suggests animosity between the two might be one reason for Fallons absence:
Fallon told Petraeus [in March] that he considered him to be an ass-kissing little chickensh*t and added, I hate people like that, the sources say. That remark reportedly came after Petraeus began the meeting by making remarks that Fallon interpreted as trying to ingratiate himself with a superior.

(51,076 posts)due to the fact he was the general on the ground and should know what is really going on, on the ground there. On the other hand I think Obama should have known better than trust a dick and w possible plant on anything.
I'm not knocking President Obama as I like our President. I'm just saying that with what had happened over the last 8 years before he bacame President should have tipped him off as to the caliber of people that the dick and w ran with.

(51,076 posts)I always knew he was a sorry excuse of a general, or since reading what Admiral Fallon had to say back then.
I'm not a perfect person by any means and don't claim to be but I am someone who says what I mean and mean what I say, in other words I live my convictions. General Betrayus did not live up to my expectations of what a general is.
