I never believed this 'we were shocked when we lost' bullshit from the GOP and Fox News.

They were portraying confidence before Tuesday, because that's just what you do to get the vote out and support your guy.

That is normal. And now Dick Morris has admitted to it.

This whole 'surprised' business at the moment they lost and up to now is just an act to save face and placate donors and their sheep voters.

As usual, they are lying. I suppose that the Romney family was 'surprised' because they are self-entitled pricks.

But none... NONE of the GOP Hierarchy, Fox News Propaganda Machine, or the Super PACs were surprised.

It's an act.

they knew they were losing all along; but could not tell their candidate, lest he telegraph the knowledge, and affect fund-raising. (See: the Colbert thread, here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021806484)

down something like 3-5 pts in ohio. Before, they had been saying they were up 1 until election day. So I don't believe they didn't know all along.

and Mitt was probably champing at the bit to cut off those credit cards to his staff. He wanted out and that story about the fireworks they bought was more BS for media consumption to "psyche out" the dems ha ha

And keep this in mind, they will tell their audience anything it wants to hear to keep those eyeballs glued to the screen. That's because in the end it is not about Republicans or Democrats, its about advertising money.
