(982 posts)The same way our ancestors fought for US under FDR.
Who are we to allow our country to go down the crapper after everything that our ancestors did for US?

(982 posts)The whole thing is a con, because it is separately and fully funded and they keep pretending it is part of the general fund.
They just thought it was part of their funds so they gave themselves tax cuts, meanwhile starting two wars and big government programs and stealing from us.
And now they are think we are too stupid to see right though them?
This is an insult to our intelligence America!
Grab your torches and pitchforks...or whatever it is these days, cell phones and video cameras.
Let's shame these assholes and run them out of town.

The budget deficit should have always have been reported without the excess taken in by the S.S. system. The trust fund should always have been shown as a separate creditor account.
Part of what happens when you look at it in this fashion is that Obama's current budget deficit is not that far off from George Bush's 2004 deficit.

Another thing is not to forget that one of the big reasons for Obama's apparent drastic increase in the deficit is that he put the wars on the budget and Bush left them off.
