Hopefully there are a lot of media swarming his area and asking people if he ever spoke of politics. Of course an FBI agent should keep that quiet and never discuss politics, but then again FBI agents don't generally send shirtless pics of themselves to women they hardly know, so there may be chance he was as sloppy with his political beliefs as he was with his personal life.

You don't leak anything in an on-going investigation.

Whether he'll be punished for it is anyone's guess. I'm a cynic. I think he'll skate on it.

He gave the info to the field office but was not part of investigation. So why go to members of congress? What did he know or want to know? Hmm
