Are McCarthy's funds drying up?

My neighbor, a registered Dem, got a survey and a desire for a donation from him and the return envelope requires a stamp. Every time I get a survey from the Dems they have always provided a paid-for envelope. I would return it with a nasty reply but I don't want to waste my own money. Is this typical for the GQP or are their billionaire donors getting cheap?

solicitation in years, but then, I don’t know how companies that send solicitations determine whether to include postage or not.

The idea is if you care enough to spring extra for postage then you are a priority mark for further solicitations.

This used to be a thing for non-profit groups. They would send a postage-paid envelope, but it would be marked "Your postage on this envelope will help us keep costs down". The catch is that USPS charges the recipient the postage whether there is a stamp on it or not. Putting a stamp on it doesn't help the non-profit at all.
