Mom knows she is on video and is playing the part as the calm fair Romney supporter. No it wasn't because I had any understanding of what was going on or because my parents were big Nixon supporters (Both parents are lifelong Democrats but I had no idea what a Democrat or a Republican was when I was 7). I was upset because I just thought he looked so SAD!

I agree with some of the others who question why a child of this age is so distraught over the outcome of the election. He is obviously too young to understand a lot of the issues this election was about. He doesn't even understand the fundamentals of our system. (Being of a certain age in order to vote.) What is the point of posting this video other than to get attention. If it really is an attempt at humor, I fail to get it.

Why would you video tape a moment like that? And why would you post it on YouTube? It seems rather irresponsible to me.

I recall my kids crying over things they didn't really understand, but I can't imagine recording it, let along sharing it with strangers. Not every moment of every life needs to be recorded for posterity or Facebook or YouTube. What kind of example does that set for the children?
