Remember when you were a kid and you fought with your siblings or close friends and your mother said stop it and you kept slipping in a lick trying to get the last lick until Mom popped somebody. The one who got the last lick won. Juvenile Mittens is playing that old game. If he can smear Bill on his way out the door, he wins. After all, President Obama could not possibly have beaten him without Bill.

Because as much as I hate to admit it, I am not 100% sure he didn't say it. It doesn't mean he actually believed it...he probably was just trying to make Romney feel better, since on a human level he knows what it's like to go through a presidential campaign, and it was never meant to become public.
