Embrace your inner schadenfreude.
Sigh, it doesn't really make me happy to see them distraught. I just feel sorry for them for being so easily duped.

(48 posts)I personally don't like to see anyone unhappy but is you were stupid enough to believe in that shit they were puttin out then you deserve the tears it brings!
I can't understand an intelligent, logical, caring person could fall for what i thought were insults to my intelligence? I mean how many flip flops and i don't know what I'm going to do but I'll do it better than THAT guy does it take to at least make you wonder when should I start to get the BS meter out? I guess I should try to figure out how to sell some stupid bullshit to morons, this election certainly proved some people will buy ANYTHING!

(3,855 posts)And, let me try to recall how that old quote from P. T. Barnum went. I believe it went something like, "Nobody ever lost a dollar by underestimating the taste of the American public."
You could substitute the word intelligence for taste here, and I think it would still ring true on this subject. Except maybe now a majority of us are starting to wake up.

(10,942 posts)every day. Even if you don't remotely believe a word of the shit you spew out, you're be rich within two years, even as you awake each day puking your guts out. THose people in the pictures were manipulated and used by the right wing complex that make money off of them every day. They have made Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly insanely wealthy, but on the night of November 6, 2012, they saw reality.

(133 posts)Believing that it doesn't make you happy seeing them : ) I makes me happy. -and believe me, if the shoe were on the other foot, they would not at all feel sorry for you I don't think but I'm sure you're a very nice person, so don't get me wrong : )

(34,455 posts)ideology that has no place in 2012 America. I am ecstatic. I am relieved. I am an American, even though most of those people in those pictures despise the concept of me. I am Native American, a government educational employee, female, and within 10 years of retiring. Suck it up, baggers. You lost. Get over it.

(4,309 posts)The times they are a changin' and all the tea partiers have to get over it. I, too was absolutely relieved and then thrilled with the election results. We are going to have racial equality, LGBT equality, sex equality, a sane foreign policy, contraception, safe and legal abortion, health care for everyone, and the filthy rich are going to pay their fair share! Maybe not today or tomorrow, but it is coming. It started when the people spoke on November 6. Your numbers are dwindling and ours are growing. Young people, minorities and women have totally rejected your proposals. We want to go forward, not backward. I'm not ashamed to be happy about your sad faces because you should be ashamed of the racist, sexist, warmongering policies you support.

(10,942 posts)years from now if the people in those photos had been smiling ear to ear. Their vision for America was one where a lie could be easily justified if it accomplished an end result, an America where women had no control over their reproductive choices, an American that no honest person wanted to see come about. I have no sympathy for them.

(20,226 posts)activist to the senior most advisers up to and including Romney and Ryan themselves all really seemed to have believed - not only that they had a good shot at winning - but that they had it in the bag. If they had simply been checking any derivative market - or any nonpartisan statisticians or even the London bookies - they would have known that Romney had a shot at it - but it was basically a long shot at best. I would only hope that they will now start to question their own echo chamber.

(7,044 posts)So I do have somef sympathy for the people in these photos. No one likes to discover that they have been played for a fool by the likes of Fox, Rush, Hannity, Beck and the other overpaid Republican propaganda pimps.
It's embarassing and shameful.
These folks have every right to be angry at the Republican 1%, Inc. machine that lied to them so completely, and which made a mockery of honesty, decency, and integrity -- all core American values.
These folks have been badly betrayed by the Republican "leadership" and it will take them some time to find their bearings...

(32,094 posts)I can't believe that, after all the lies, and all the gross disrespect this man has shown for the vast majority of Americans, that 48% of you still were willing to vote to elect him head of this country. And, I can't believe that this 48% are continuing to throw the childish, racist, disgusting tantrum that they are throwing.
StrictlyRockers, I can't feel sorry for these people. I just can't. I don't take pleasure in their being distdraught, either. I just don't care. These are the very people who helped elect the assholes that caused our economic mess. I can't feel sorry for them. I wish they'd all just go away.

(2,404 posts)These pics not only put a smile on my face, but it is also frightening. I saw only ONE Acrican-American and it was in a large crowd shot. Also note the men with their arms crossed. A clear body language of restrictive closed thinking after disappointment...immovable and defiant.
Very revealing.

(13 posts)I want see them cry harder. I want their treasonous representatives behind bars. Those who have signed Grover Norquists pledge worry more about their political careers than they do about the nation. They have sacrificed their congressional duties to Norquist, a lobbyist. Under the Espionage Act, this is an act of sedition, and as such, they should be punished to the fullest extent of the lawwe are a nation at war! Sign this petition, and have them arrested and removed from office http://wh.gov/X5pl

(1 post)Yeah, I know it's creepy but I eat GOP Sad for lunch. And midnight snack. I gather photos of sad Republicans as a hobby! Here's a site where you can see every known clip of election night 2012 from the GOP parties, elections centers, hqs, everywhere.
Here's a sample!
CAPTION: "I'll always have my Twinkies..."
CAPTION: "Braaaaaaaaaaains!"
CAPTION: Jan Brewer eats the Sad and her finger at the same time. She's quite a lady!
