I said the same thing in an earlier thread about her and had some replies that disagreed strongly with what I was saying. It is simply not the case that butter can give you diabetes and it concerns me that this kind of nonesense is out there and people believe it. It is definitely about the carbohydrates, which come in many forms. If you watch her show at all, you could almost gag on the amount of sugar and white flour she uses in so many recipes. That is when I get disgusted with her. The butter certainly adds calories and you want to be careful of that, but the diabetes is related to all the other stuff. Her sons will probably be following in her footsteps if they don't change their ways. I can't even watch her show because of all the desserts, etc. she whips up and feeds on during her show. I am not surprised about her diabetes, but I am surprised and disgusted by the fact that she has been so dishonest about it. Knowing what she now knows, she could have easily changed the format of her show to focus on her disease and how to cook for it. She should be taken off the air.

The kinda stuff only a kid would like to eat.

she was gaming all along, just waiting for that pharma deal before she announced her disease to push for them. That's what I come away with.

I was feeling sorry for her, but not so much anymore. There are lots of people on that list of mine and she just got knocked down the column a bit.
