That humans as a species are capable of such rapid leaps of ingenuity and creation is amazing. It's depressing that the same species has enough members that are so hidebound and short-sighted as to drag civilization back down into muck for individual profit or comfort.

my Windows version changes taking about that long to download.

...before Voyager 1's RTG's won't be able to supply enough power to run the scientific instruments.
Voyager 2 should be good until 2030 or so.
