Do we need to be worried more?

Hello Friends:

I know we are all positive about 2024 but do we need to exercise caution and work to avert a disaster.

https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4265622-trump-leads-biden-builds-support-among-young-voters-poll/

Are youngsters and many independents even know what loss of democracy means? I mean Trump has pretty much said what he intends to do. Mayhem, opposition trials, Gen. Miley execution, NBC News charged on treason. This is dictatorship and people better believe it. Do people even know what dictatorship is and Democrats not doing enough to educate the people? I am just checking to see what our friends here think. It is serious. There is support for autocracy.

National polls at this point are meaningless, and national polls showing Trump beating Biden among young voters should never be taken seriously.

Research has consistently shown that in the past few cycles young voters have supported Dems by greater than a 2 to 1 margin (more than 30 points!) over Republicans.

If this poll were to be believed (and it shouldn’t be), it would mean that young voters’ support has shifted by at least 15 points from 2022…do you believe that is true?

Joe does have vulnerabilities that can be exploited, but only by someone other than trump, and at this point, I honestly don't know who that would be.

No matter what you might read in the media, trump is dead meat in the eyes of the vast majority of the voters. The best chance the Republicans have is if trump is forced out of the race because of multiple felony convictions. But that party is so crazy right now, I doubt they'd deny him the nomination even if he runs as a convicted felon.

We still need to work hard for every democratic candidate up and down the ballot, but we should not get freaked out by these meaningless early polls.

I posted a lot of issues and comparisons.

Take what you like, add to it or subtract.

Will motivate a lot of people to get to the polls. Family planning is a serious issue and babies are EXPENSIVE.

Whether you worry or not, the results will be what they will be. Seems like a lot of wasted fretting.
