Even when he won the nomination, there was a very low level of enthusiasm among his base. And he had trouble drawing big crowds at his rallies. Pretty much the only thing that got Republicans to the polls was their animus towards Obama. I just think it's weird that they didn't seem satisfied with Romney and are now trying to distance themselves from him, considering the fact that Romney is a mirror image of what the GOP is about. He's a job outsourcer, a tax dodger, a hypocrite, a xenophobe, a chicken hawk, a bigot, a liar, a panderer, and he blames other people for his mistakes. He has all the traits of a typical Republican, so I don't know why his party hates him so much.

(10 posts)is how they shilled for him when they hated him. They watched him flub his campaign, insult our allies overseas, pretend to help victims of Sandy, etc. but they were still willing to back him to lead our country. Are they even taking this seriously? Do they not understand that the leader of the free world is a big responsibility and might be too big of a job for a Sarah Palin or a Mitt Romney. Now they are distancing themselves from him. But, I haven't forgotten that they were willing to give him the reins of our country. Shame on all of them. They don't care about America. I at least have some respect, not much, but some respect for the ones who honestly believed that Romney was right for the job as President. These liars never wanted him. They are just liars and swindlers.
