according to this article:
However, according to the report, Anonymous stopped any voter fraud from happening. The hacker group put up firewalls on election night to any data from flowing out of Ohio.
Anonymous, according to their "letter," could instead have tried to capture the data and then expose the criminals, but that would have been far too risky. Instead, they closed the hole that Rove was going to use and blocked the theft of the election.
Is there any real proof that this happened? Of course not. However, based on Anonymous past exploits, we believe it is possible. In addition, in late October, Anonymous posted a little viewed video (viewable here, due to embedding limitations) that warned Rove and others that their theft of the election was not going to be successful.
It would be very interesting if Anonymous captured enough information to give the Justice Department evidence to take down the miscreants. Odds are not, but it would indeed be interesting to see Rove and others brought to task.

Yes, it would be interesting if there was. In fact, I hope they did and will provide it to the Justice Department. Rove and his allies need to be taken down.
As for Ohio, Mitt had no chance of winning. He lost Florida. He lost Ohio by nearly 2 points, Virginia by 3 points and Colorado by 5 points. He lost NH by nearly 6 points, and all the rest was simply MSM noise. His campaign was built on pure arrogance, and the last minute push, aided by the media narrative of a surge, was an attempt to compensate for a lousy candidate and his flawed campaign.
If Anonymous has definitive proof that Rove tried to hack the vote, present it.

That would be icing on the cake.

(45,851 posts)And I keep thinking "Investigated by whom"?
Who is going to pull the trigger on that snake pit, eh?
I don't see our political establishment dealing with what's going to come out of a serious investigation of Rove's nefarious schemes, no way, no how. It wouldn't be remotely prudent for the Village to gaze into this particular abyss.

...the excuse for not pushing for evidence that could lead to an investigation is that it wouldn't be "remotely prudent" for them?
Well, then let's spare them. In fact, let's never push them again, on anything, it's clearly a waste of time.

I'm dreaming of a White Fitzmas.

This is a reason for not presenting evidence? I mean, you seem to have it figured out so why bother demanding action for anything?

(45,851 posts)Just an acceptance of the limits of the possible.
The Democrats simply aren't going to go full metal jacket investigate the crap out of the Republicans, the Village will never let them get away with it, just making enough fainting couches for the M$M would employ the carpenters and upholsterers of three New England states until the next St Bartholomew's day and MSNDAP alone would be buying imported smelling salts by the tanker load.

There's no way that could possibly be a fake.

(104 posts)And that the votes were actually flipped in Obama's favor simply because it's still his "turn"?
I've read your post a few times and that's the only interpretation I can come up with.

(3,286 posts)Not this time anyway. But watch out in 2016 when the general liberalism of the American electorate will once again be thwarted. Here's a hint....don't burn your best candidate and then get all conspiratorial when he/she loses.

(36,437 posts)If the voting is cooked, maybe the public polling is too,and if that's cooked, maybe the private polling. How could you possibly make a claim about a social phenomenon (about a population) under such conditions of uncertainty.
Maybe "they" just want you to think there is a general liberalism, because then when they cook the election. you will inevitably get a fringe group screaming "FRAUD," which it really is anyway, but it's more effective when the fringe group really believes it, and so your very doubt about the election is not only part of the conspiracy, but an essential part of making the conspiracy run, since the fringeness of the fringe persuades the midstream not to adopt the fringe view, thereby persuading people who would otherwise agree that there must have been some fraud to ignore such claims, because they don't want to be associated withn the fringe element in its very fringeness.
Maybe YOU'RE the designed effect of doctored public polls, and when YOU believe that the American electorate is generally liberal, you are only believing precisely what they want you to believe!
Maybe that's what's going on. Who's to tell?
