DRUDGE Critical of A Fellow Republican..."CHRISTIE CLOWNS ON 'SNL' AS RESIDENTS SUFFER"

Is this a Drudge first? Critical of a fellow Republican.

Matt Drudge must be wanting to scapegoat Chris Christie for Mitt's loss.

Chris Christie did NOT cost Mitt Romney this election. Mitt Romney cost Mitt Romney this election

Christie might have secured his re-election as NJ governor, but he's Peter-principled himself up to his level of incompetence, and will never get the Presidential nomination. He pissed off too many Repukes who really weren't sure about him in the first place.

but that part of the base is literally dying off.

His accomplishment was showing genuine compassion for the people he was elected to govern. It's the first time in a very long time I've seen a Republican show empathy for others and actual respect for the President. He placed the good of the people over partisan politics - that's a helluva platform to run on.

Don't count him out. I think he could be a formidable candidate.

He seems less of an asshole than he did to me a couple months ago. (But I'm not holding my breath that it's an actual reform of his character).

Same duration of time for Christie after Sandy hit.

I thought Christie was funny last night...and he is a decent guy for being such a Republican, and yet giving President Obama credit where credit was due, several days before an election.
