and who change their behavior. In reality he should never have been allowed to marry the mistress in a Catholic church. That is.... if the Catholic Church cared more about fairness then it does "donations".

In my religion, you cannot even ask for G-d's forgiveness until you've tried making amends to the person you wronged. That's why this whole "well, G-d has forgiven him" is so totally meaningless to me.

So given past practice it appears as if the strategy works, at least on small minded GOP voters.

I think he's going to be needing a shitload of forgiveness. He's already been whining about it.

13. got it. "not for liberals"

and the liberals are not the ones beating their chests about so called family values. But, the media seems to be more interested in the social behavior of liberals than their team.

So now it's the forgiveness thing. What he did to his wife is more about his character. It's his character that is questionable, especially if he confronted his wife while she was in the hospital.

Also, I'd like to know what is in that ethics reports on old newtie, while he was in congress.

I'd say besides a massive dangerous ego, he's got a massive character flaw.

Gingrich's ego is so big it has it's own weather patterns.

That's his main problem, and the one that will doom him by his own hand. Let's hope it doesn't doom the entire US population along with him.

President Newt would be ten-fold worse than President W.

What he is doing is continuing to commit serial adultery against his true, and only, first wife. And this comes straight from Jesus himself:

"Whoever divorces his wife and marries another, commits adultery against her; and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery." - Mark 10:11-12

"Every one who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery." - Luke 16:18

Funny how certain sins are unforgiveable and worthy of being stoned to death, but the ones Jesus talked about specifically aren't a big deal.

A conservative on Facebook the other day was talking about the conservative in GA who got pulled over for a DUI. He said Dems never own their mistakes or faults but the GOP always takes responsibility. What a crock. I have yet to see a conservative who didn't use the "God has forgiven me" excuse when caught with their pants down.

I'm so sick of the double standards they use to excuse their behavior while prosecuting Dems for anything and everything.

As far as Gingrich and his "open marriage" I have an uncle who has been with his partner for over 40 years. If two gay men can be faithful to each other why can't a "good Christian" like Newt do the same.

This shit drives me crazy.
