http://www.postonpolitics.com/2012/01/republicans-deride-obamas-disney-visit-as-taxpayer-paid-campaign-day/
It looks like our president is at it again with yet another taxpayer-paid campaign day, said Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus this morning on a conference call. Its amazing that this president seems to find himself every day in battleground states across America paid for by the taxpayers. He doesnt seem to end up in Montana or Nebraska very often Its a campaign trip to a very important battleground state of Florida where the president is doing very poorly.

OP
Well, if Obama is "doing very poorly" in Florida, how can it be a battleground state?

It's a given that an incumbent, especially a sitting President has a bully pulpit.
When did it become a problem for the GOP?
Oh right, when it was a Democrat.

(20,136 posts)9. This is just like the complaints over the cost of Air Force One that
pop up with every new administration. Republicans criticized Clinton for using AF1. Dems criticized Bush. Now Repubs are criticizing Obama.
Same thing here. Every time an incumbent president runs for reelection we hear this same complaint.
Does anyone take it seriously? (Don't answer: I know some people do.)

Reince Priebus go fuck yourself. Nasty little prick from Wisconsin.
