this week. A young 30 something. He said he voted for Biden last time because he promised to relieve his student loans. But Biden didn't do anything for him. He's considering an RFK, Jr vote this time! Head bang time. Led him to the fact RFK and several siblings were constantly in the news for drug abuse in the 70s. One died from a heroin overdose. Told him why believe someone who ingested dangerous drugs should tell anyone what to put into their bodies or not? Someone extremely wealthy without any everyday worries. Grandson is reconsidering.

You grandson may not have qualified for the reduced plan, but Biden certainly gave it his best effort. The Rethugs took him to court to cancel his more encompassing plan. You could make him aware of Pres Biden's effort that he won't get anything from other politicians.
How do I know if my student loans will be forgiven?
Your loans should automatically qualify for forgiveness after you've spent 20 or 25 years in repayment. Reach out to your loan servicer about any steps you may need to take.

But didn't want to start an openly political fact too strongly. But you are so correct.
