The great Wal-Mart strikes of Black Friday 2012 have begun. Workers across the nation are walking out, and thousands of Americans are expected in demonstrate in solidarity today and tomorrow.
In Orlando, Congressman-elect Alan Grayson joined the strikers. Heres a photo of him walking Lisa Lopez off the job tonight (thanks to United for Respect at Walmart for the photo):

(94 posts)can wear either darker shade of blue or a dark green like hunter green or forest green (officially) but as long as management doesn't bitch then many shades of either are okay. I've seen associates I worked with wear neon green and powder blue.

(53,661 posts)I see what you mean, but I thought these colors symbolized the strikers only.
I haven't been to a WalMart in years. They seem to flourish in red areas, blue areas seem to prefer COSTCO. Just a regional thing. It will be great if WalMart unionizes, they treat their workers badly. It will send a ripple through business worldwide.

(5,604 posts)Every week, or every few days, he gives us another example of what leadership, vision, or compassion and principled virtue is all about. Grayson/Warren 2016 sound good to me.
