Gingrich-Perry ticket, with Palin in cabinet

Palin and Perry are pals, if you recall. Big pals. It was therefore no surprise that she didn't endorse Romney. I waited for a possible endorsement for Perry, thinking we might see a Perry-Palin ticket (altho it occurred to me that Perry might not want a failed VP candidate). Then Perry failed miserably in his bid for nominee.

Sooooo....here comes Palin with a Gingrich endorsement. Perry's still in the running, but we all know there isn't much (any) hope for him. Still, I was surprised, until I heard Gingrich say that there would be a place in his administration for Palin. That means they talked.

But what about Perry, I thought?

Aha....a day or two after Palin's Ginrich endorsement, Perry drops out.

I'm gonna guess that Gingrich, Palin, and Perry had a powwow, and it's been worked out. Perry will give Gingrich some of the traits he's lacking (an in with evangelicals and social conservatives, and some influence with hispanic voters, as well as eye candy appeal). Palin will tour in her bus, promoting the Gingrich-Perry ticket, in return for, as Gingrich put it, "a place in my administration."

Of course, none of this will come to pass, since Gingrich won't win the nomination. But this the plan, is my guess.

Secretary of State Palin would be the end of every treaty and alliance we've got.

7. People in the administration quit or are fired all the time. Unlike for Veep. It's a perfect plan.
