but the sheer boosterism of this rampant consumeristic, over-hyped shopping day is disgusting.
A little balance would be welcome.

(146,324 posts)I see the videos of the crowds and the pushing and shoving as an inducement to stay home and let others fight over questionable bargains. The balance is in the videos of people who ignore common sense and do stupid things.
The funniest thing of all is that as Christmas gets closer, the same stores will have the same products on sale, often at even lower prices.
