...the author, one Richard Bernstein, was a lifelong Democrat who reexamined his assumptions after 911 and became a Republican. The chapter titles indicate a stream of regurgitated RW memes.

In other words, it stinks strongly of the same old tired disproven crap repackaged as "research" by an alleged former Democrat.

I wonder how much of that "research" points right back to the RW echo chamber?

I almost guffawed when my step-mother brought up this book which I had not heard of. Duped? DUPED? Are you friggin' kidding me? I swear, my RW family members have become emotionally unhinged.
