Things this NYT story shows, but will be pitched as claiming the opposite:
1) DOJ was after Willard a year before previously claimed.
2) Follow-the-money was tried (which Garland said publicly, but people ignored), didn't really work.
3) Focus on Trump started before known.

The ACTUAL story should be this: Yeah, DOJ did have to wait on Liz Cheney to turn over transcripts, which J6C withheld for EIGHT MONTHS, including 3 months past when J6C said they would release them.

Did real damage to the Proud Boys case.



Not mentioned in this NYT story:
1) How privilege review FOR JAN6 on Rudy's phones started in April 2021.
2) Arrest of people like Brandon Straka (Willard guy) and Owen Shroyer (they exploited a prominent media guy's phones and no one noticed!!)
3) Co-Conspirator 3, overt by 9/21
