Facing multiple indictments, Donald Trump is apparently comfortable going after the family members of those who might hold him accountable for his actions.

It was against this backdrop that the suspected felon, just one day later, thought itd be a good idea to go after the judge in the case and his daughter. CNBC reported:
In the same missive, the presumptive GOP nominee added, His daughter is a senior executive at a Super Liberal Democrat firm that works for Adam Shifty Schiff, the Democrat National Committee, (Dem)Senate Majority PAC, and even Crooked Joe Biden.
(Update: Trump used his social media platform this morning to publish a couple of additional items about the judge's daughter.)
If this sounds at all familiar, its not your imagination. Last year, the defendants lawyers also urged Merchan to recuse himself from the case and referenced the judges daughters work as a political consultant at a firm with Democratic clients......
For another, its striking just how frequently Trump goes after his perceived foes family members. Late last year, for example, in the Trump Organizations fraud case, the Republican targeted Judge Arthur Engorons wife. Before that, the presumptive GOP nominee not only labeled special counsel Jack Smith a terrorist, he also lashed out at the prosecutors wife and sister-in-law.
Now, Merchans daughter has apparently joined the target list. The underlying message is hardly subtle: In pursuit of his own interests, Trump will take whatever steps he deems necessary, even if that means going after the family members of those who might hold him accountable for his actions
Donald Trump on Tuesday lashed out at the judge in his criminal hush money case and verbally took aim at the judges daughter after the ex-presidents attorneys failed to delay the case from heading to trial next month. Trump, in a Truth Social post, called New York Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan a very distinguished looking man who is nevertheless a true and certified Trump Hater.

Judge Merchan will recuse himself if you'll have Clarence Thomas and Eileen Cannon recuse themselves. Oh, and from here on keep your fucking mouth shut about pending cases that concern you!

This issue has been already litigated and a states ethics panel ruled on this supposed conflict

Donald Trump filed a motion for Judge Juan Merchan to recuse himself from the trial last year, but it was only after the judge requested a ruling about the matter from an ethics board.
MSNBC legal analyst Lisa Rubin pointed to the timeline of the motion, explaining that on May 4, 2023, the New York State Judicial Ethics Advisory Board reviewed Merchan for possible conflicts and determined there were none.
"We see nothing in the inquiry to suggest that the outcome of the case could have any effect on the judge's relative, the relative's business, or any of their interests," the committee found, an ABC News report quoted.
"There is simply nothing new here that would alter this Court's prior conclusion that nothing about this proceeding will directly benefit Authentic or this Court's family member, let alone this Court," wrote prosecutor Matthew Colangelo when responding to Trump's motion.
