SPOTLIGHT RACE: Bryan Cohn for NC-HD22

Bryan, his wife Ashley, and their children live in Oxford's beautiful downtown historic district. Bryan and Ashley have deep family ties to Oxford, Henderson and the surrounding area. They are proud to call Oxford their home and raise their children in such a wonderful community. Bryan is a Senior Solution Engineer working from his home office, focusing on manufacturing Plant Production, Food Safety, Quality, & Compliance. Previously Bryan served as Vice President of Supply Chain and Market Development at Chapel-Hill-based Seal the Seasons, a company specializing in local frozen foods. Bryan has extensive experience in large-scale food service and operations management, having held leadership roles at Couche-Tard and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

As a member of the City of Oxford Board of Commissioners, Bryan & his colleagues have worked tirelessly to achieve numerous strategic and critical goals for the City of Oxford, Including:

Zoning approval for nearly 5000 new homes.
The continuation and expansion of water and sewer infrastructure replacement, which is amongst the most progressive projects in the United States.
The long-awaited start to the expansion of the Kerr Lake regional water plant.
Substantial pay increases & incentives for city employees, including police and fire department, that are also among the region's most aggressive increases.
Significant investments in planning for the Oxford downtown business district, including a new social district.
Reopening of the Oxford City Theater, which had been shuttered for years.
Approved update and expansions to Granville St., Park, and Lake Devon Park.
Hiring a new city manager who is well qualified to lead and oversee Oxford's growth.
