Why is MTG so upset about Eastman's disbarment?

A number of Republicans and supporters of Trump's Make America Make Again movement criticized Roland's recommendation on X, formerly Twitter.

Georgia House Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote: "John Eastman is a great attorney and loves this country. He should not lose his law license."

Down memory lane

https://www.businessinsider.com/marjorie-taylor-greene-mtg-john-eastman-trump-constitutional-law-campaign-2022-Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's campaign paid John Eastman in January for unspecified "legal services."
The payment was made to Constitutional Counsel Group, a firm founded by the Trump lawyer.
A lawyer representing Greene told Insider he "doesn't know" what services Eastman or his firm provided.

Campaign groups affiliated with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene have paid thousands of dollars in recent months to the firm of John Eastman, a lawyer who played a leading role in former President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

Greene's reelection committee paid $10,000 in January to the Constitutional Counsel Group, according to a recent federal campaign finance disclosure. Eastman lists the Anaheim, California address of the Constitutional Counsel Group in state bar records.

In a disclosure with the Federal Election Commission, Greene's campaign committee said it paid the Constitutional Counsel Group on January 14 for "legal services." But it was not the first payment to Eastman's firm from a committee tied to Greene, a Georgia Republican known for her incendiary style and embrace of conspiracy theories.

This from Wiki;

Education
Eastman attended the Dallas-area Lewisville High School. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Dallas in 1982. He did a doctoral study in Government at the Claremont Graduate School, receiving a Ph.D. in 1993. He also attended the University of Chicago Law School, where he was a member of the University of Chicago Law Review.[28][29] He graduated in 1995 with a Juris Doctor.

Career
In 1989, prior to attending law school, Eastman served as the director of Congressional and public affairs at the United States Commission on Civil Rights.[30] He was also the unsuccessful 1990 Republican candidate for the United States House of Representatives in California's 34th congressional district.[31]

Following law school, he clerked for Judge J. Michael Luttig at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, who has since denounced Eastman for assisting Trump's efforts to remain in power and subvert the results of the 2020 election.[32] Eastman also clerked for Justice Clarence Thomas at the Supreme Court of the United States. He then was an attorney with the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis, specializing in civil and constitutional litigation. He later joined Chapman to teach constitutional law, was appointed dean, and founded the school's Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence.[33] For the 2020–2021 academic year he was the Visiting Scholar in Conservative Thought and Policy at the Bruce D. Benson Center for the Study of Western Civilization at the University of Colorado Boulder.[34]

Eastman served as an attorney for the State of South Dakota, representing it in a denied petition to the U.S. Supreme Court in a constitutional challenge to federal spending.[35]

Eastman has represented the North Carolina legislature and the State of Arizona in unsuccessfully petitioning the Supreme Court in cases involving same-sex marriage, abortion,[36] and immigration.[37]

He testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee in 2014 arguing that President Barack Obama's unilateral suspension of deportation for undocumented immigrants was unconstitutional[38] and regarding the disclosure by the IRS of tax returns.[33]
