It wasn't long ago when an American President by the name of Ronald Reagan thundered "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall." Now my predecessor, a former Republican president, tells Putin, "Do what ever the hell you want". A former President actually said that. Bowing down to a Russian leader. I think it is outrageous, dangerous and it's unacceptable.

Biden's campaign staff needs to work this up into an ad to run throughout October.

An this was from the POTUS who's admin and party stripped away the New Deal policies that did make America great.

Cut taxes in half for the top income brackets, wealthy investors, and corporations.

Waging economic war on the majority of Americans.

I won't even go into the black ops Reagan couldn't remember authorizing, like Iran/Contra/cocaine and weapons smuggling to fund LatAm black ops to subvert democracy. The list goes on.

Fuck Ron Reagan.

Americans always so eager to take up CONservative talking points. Mystifying.

to "tear down this wall " always made me cringe. So triumphalist, as though glasnost and perestroika had never happened.

...of the Republican party have given way to pathetic appeasers of dictators like Putin. Anyone who grew up during the '80s has to be utterly disoriented by how radical the shift has been. What was truly mindblowing for me was hearing Trump's RNC chairman include Ukraine among China and Iran as one of our "aggressive adversaries" on Fox "News". I am old enough to remember the tail end of the Cold War and the early career of Newt Gingrich as a neo-McCarthyite red-baiter. Now the far-right sets new lows in servility to tyrants, including those like Putin who pine for the glory days of the old USSR. How times have changed!
