Trump argues that he should be on campaign trail, rather than in a courtroom defending himself...

He is in a state of panic unlike any we have seen in a long time.

The truth is that he should not be on a campaign trail at all. He should have been disqualified from running for any office after his part in the insurrection of January 6th.

Also, he should have been in a courtroom long before now. He has used the system to fight any accountability, by delaying every legal process.

He is supposed to go to trial as soon as a jury is selected this Monday. He has never been this close to being held accountable for anything in his life.

As usual, he is twisting reality and the facts to suit his needs. Unfortunately for him, up to this point, it is not working.

The law may have the last word after all.

Running for president is his day job. He chose to do it. If I'm ever charged with a crime I'll file the paperwork for a presidential run and then complain that it's not fair that my trial is interfering with my work.

is to delay all the criminal trials until he wins, then the first official act of his presidency will be to pardon himself. it's his only hope. he could be hoping for light sentences, house arrest, acquittals, but he knows that all probably won't happen if the trials do. cause he's guilty as hell.

But here we are.

In most times and places throughout human history he would be going to the gallows or worse. He committed treason against our constitution.

This talk about how he should be campaigning and this is all "election interference" is complete gaslighting bullshit.

I'm not arguing for cruelty, but he SHOULD be made an example of. He SHOULD be teaching the country a lesson that presidents who willfully attack the constitution will fail, will not get away with it, and will serve LENGTHY prison terms.

Let's hope you are right that the law has the last word.
