(6,594 posts)I'm hestant to subscribe to the 1440 newsletter - who will they sell my email address to? On second thought, maybe I'll use an old (but still used) email address and see what it is.

(3,643 posts)Link them to what I call my "junk email." That's where all the political donation solicitations and Sears emails go. Yep, Sears still sells things, and I like to get them from a nostalgia standpoint.

Another part of the hush $ trial is denying voters access to the truth not mentioned at the site.

(64 posts)I find the unbiased claim suspect personally and prefer places like Vox for a pretty centrist view.
Snopes recently looked at 1440 and didn't find significant issues :
