Biden Got Everything He Wanted from Congress

Punchbowl News: “House Republicans came into the 118th Congress with big plans. They were going to cut taxes and spending, impeach President Joe Biden and members of his Cabinet and use their leverage to force Democrats to accept stringent new border security and immigration policies. In short, they were going to shake up Washington, with Biden as their main focus.”

“That didn’t happen.”

“Instead, Biden has gotten pretty much everything he’s asked for from this Congress without having to concede much in return. True, it’s taken a while as the dysfunctional House slowly churned its way through the past 15-plus months.”

“Yet in the end, Biden has emerged as the big winner.”

We had some "independent" cattle who needed to see the vet. As we wanted them to be corralled for this, they, of course, went to mill around at the farthest corner of the pasture. My dad had an idea, "let's just stand in the corral and turn our backs to them. They won't be able to stand their curiosity." Huh, curious cattle? But soon enough, we were surrounded by a herd of cattle. It was a simple thing to just shut the gate and bring on the vet.

Joe Biden, the wise rancher of recalcitrant "Republicattle". I hope he his skills will work as well for the next herd of "Democrattle" coming in '25.

Jefferies, Pelosi, Schumer and many others, even Ocasio-Cortez worked side by side with him. So many standout Representative. Now we just have to take back the House in November!!!!

For successfully milking the bullshitters. Which, I appreciate.

However there are two issues which will be foremost in many voter’s minds as November approaches.

First and foremost, Reproductive Rights and what led to the reversal of RoevWade.
Secondly and nearly as important, restoring Civil Rights (voting, specifically) to their former glory after being incessantly watered down by the GOP for over forty years.

Biden is far more formidable than he appears. Republicans seriously underestimated him from the beginning.

but then the Republicans decided it wasn't that important after all.

Also, nobody forced them to spend most of their time "snipe-hunting" with Hunter Biden.

High food prices and unaffordable housing. Both can be alleviated by electing more Progressive Democrats, hopefully people on the fence will figure that out. Repukes are strictly dog eat dog. With a lot of sky-daddy thrown in there to muddy the waters. Just my take.

Freepers are unhappy with their congresspeople. Hoping for a blue wave this November as Trump bankrupts the RNC.

so once again, the repubs torpedoed their own bill, trying to make Pres Biden look incompetent.

Hopefully, that will be evident in November and be reflected in the election results.

We need to be reminded on a regular basis.

The media doesn't do it. It's not as attention grabbing as all the other crap that's in our faces.

Thanks again.
