Relatively speaking, this trial seems rather trivial compared to the other charges against Trump.

Although a crime is a crime, somehow it doesn't measure up to the charges of an attempted coup with election fraud or stealing our nation's deepest secrets.

It seems inconsequential when compared to the election fraud in the 2020 election. The threats to the Georgia election officials seem to be much more serious. The fraudulent forms and fake election officials in the several battleground states appear to be much more serious charges.

The stealing of our nation's secrets and moving them to Mar-a-Lago and then hiding them from the FBI and refusing to turn them over almost seems like a capital offense, punishable by death. But, for the time being, all of them are on a back burner, as we focus our attention on the salacious details of Stormy Daniels and the National Enquirer stories.

A lot of older Reagan types have had it with him anyway. I know of 4 people split between Virginia and Georgia who will at least not vote for him. These are locked down republican votes usually. One is voting for Biden.

I think a lot of people just aren’t going to vote for a criminal.

last minute to rule on total immunity because they know they can't grant it to him. But, they don't want the other 2 trials happening before the election. So that is what they are doing to tip the scale the most they can.

It totally sucks!!

The supreme court is insanely corrupt.

That relied on honorable patriots, and honest judges with wisdom, and impartial common sense jurors. That gene pool ain't what it used to be.

Power needs to be diffused, and impermanent. The part of our legal system that's functioning is individual lawyers and lawyer associations, and grand juries. The rest is suspect.

I don’t think that can be overstated. He can scream witch hunt but the judge still gets to tell him to shut up and sit down. He can still be the butt of countless fart jokes. Stormy Daniels knows how to look him in the eye and be salacious and humiliating. We get to point and laugh at that smarmy little con man who thinks he’s better than all of us, pro and con, powerful and weak. May he blow a gasket.

TSF has 34 felony counts that he falsified business records in order to hide bad information that could influence the 2016 presidential election. It is election fraud.

It was election interference that mattered enough, it let him take a place in government. In advance, he swayed the election results by what he did. Hillary would have won if it were not for this coupled with Comey’s interference.

It is huge that he rigged an election like that. Overthrowing the will of the people just does not strike me as small potatoes.

He only won by not many votes in swing states.

Besides this trial has the sex factor so people will be enthralled with it.

manipulation of evidence the voters had every right to know. In doing so, he defrauded the voter and both NY and US taxpayers. While not specifically charged with conspiracy, he DID (colloquial use of the term) conspire to construct and disseminate lies against his opponents, while likewise positive stories about himself. Typically the coverup of this fraud was even worse than the fraud itself.

Felonies are felonies. And while I wish the Jan 6 and FL documents trials had come first, I will not buy into RW memes that this case is not important. And yes, it is a highly disseminated RW meme that many of us are inadvertently helping to perpetuate.
