1. 'Like' is just a way to spread ad views. Facebook and Google are just ad companies.

Disguised as tech and social. 'Dislike' would attach negativity on your ad experience and piss off their real clients, advertisers.

They don't care what you think as long as you click on their little ads.

and I am surprised that this needed to even be asked.

If I was paying to have a presence on FB, I would expect that it wouldn't give people the ability to "dislike" my page and then post nasty stuff on it.

The polluting of the Internet is serious business to me.

Facebook and Google are racing to see which will be the first to beam commercials into our brains as we sleep.

No ad company should be allowed to have the kind of power they are building. Google should be broken up immediately.

What kind of world only provides the option of having "friends" and "liking" things?

Facebook should have a counterpart "Assbook", where you can "enemy" people and "dislike" things.

Then, everyone can connect their Facebook and their Assbook together.
