They basically HAVE absolute immunity for life. Why they support it. Uncle Thomas will never get a hand slap, ever.

Presidents don't order things like that. Congress has the impeachment power. Founders would be surprised at how little and ineffective impeachment has been for 230 years. But corruption might be limited to personal gain and influence, a quid pro quo. I doubt they could prove that.
