Daughter of former U.S. President George W. Bush and University of Texas alum Jenna Bush Hager was named editor-at-large for Southern Living magazine Monday.
Bush Hager, who is also a contributing correspondent to the "Today" show, will work on the "Paper Napkin Interview," which is a question and answer with a well-known Southerner, and will conduct interviews. She will also work on the "Daily South" blog.
"I was instantly charmed by Jenna's style and charisma," editor-in-chief Lindsay Bierman said. "Her Texas roots, passion for the South, and proven reporting chops make her a natural fit for the brand. I look forward to the fresh perspective she'll bring."
Her first interview will be with country music star Luke Bryan and is scheduled for the March issue.
